Windsor offers an excellent public school system.


The Windsor Unified School district includes 5 elementary schools, Windsor Junior High and Windsor High School, a state-of-the-art campus which opened in 1995. Windsor High became a California Distinguished School in 2005 and offers Focus Area Core study programs that include Digital Media and Design, Vineyard Academy, Humanities and Pre-med among others. Windsor High’s STEM Academy (science, technology, engineering and math) has been the recipient of CTE Foundation grant funding and recognized for helping connect students with career-oriented learning opportunities.
