The Town of Windsor has been approved for a remodel of the existing downtown Shell Gas Station located at Old Redwood Highway. The project will include demolition of the existing 2,321-square foot convenience store and car wash building, six fuel dispensers, and the 3,000-square foot overhead canopy.
New construction would consist of a 2,432-square foot convenience store, 1,132-square foot self-serve drive-through car wash tunnel with 248-square foot equipment room, and four fuel dispensers with 2,733-square foot overhead canopy. The project will also include relocating underground storage tanks and a new ADA path of travel to public right-of-way, new vehicle access and parking, masonry trash enclosure, new site lighting and landscaping, a self-serve vacuum, and air/water equipment.
